After I published “Speaking Out in a Domestic Dispute” and “The Diabolical Third-Wheel,” I heard from a woman who had faced the same spiritual warfare I wrote about.
She said it took her a while to believe that spiritual warfare could have caused and influenced her divorce—until the mistress showed up during the proceedings.
The sudden job loss, financial collapse, estrangement from her children and loved ones, and the loneliness that followed all felt unnatural.
It happened so fast that she’s still struggling to recover.
She asked how I survived what she called spiritual attacks during my divorce,
and how I stayed strong when darkness moved against me.
Her question led me to reflect on something I’ve learned through my own trial —
these attacks are real, brutal, and often hidden.
This post is my answer to her — not to relive pain, but as a testimony and to bear witness:
to what really happens when the unseen takes sides,
and how to navigate spiritual warfare in divorce without losing your peace, your purpose, or your soul.
When Evil Wears a Smile
In divorce, the battle doesn’t always end in court.
A bitter ex may try to silence, disempower, or spiritually break you to win at all costs.
An angry heart can weaponize energy — sending despair, confusion, or loss like invisible arrows meant to make life unbearable.
Jobs vanish, opportunities close, and friendships turn cold — all at once, as if some unseen force is orchestrating the downfall.
And if a third party is involved, the warfare often deepens.
They may use the chaos as an opening — manipulating energies, alliances, and perceptions to erase you without ever lifting a visible hand.
It’s how darkness works: quietly, strategically, and always under the disguise of reason.
When I walked through mine, there were forces determined to keep me silent and bound. The goal was not to coexist, but to conquer me.
They built alliances with family, friends, even institutions, woven together by secrecy and shared intent.
Some of those forces were familiar; others never should have been part of our story at all.
Because sometimes, a separation is the result of energies invited by a third — through jealousy, manipulation, or deliberate spiritual interference.
Outside hands can tip the balance, widening cracks that might have healed if they’d been left alone.
That’s when the warfare intensifies.
And when darkness rises, faith must rise higher.
The Unseen Courtroom —Divine Justice in Spiritual Warfare
Life has taught me that there is a courtroom beyond what eyes can see — a place where truth needs no attorney,
and lies are cross-examined by time itself.
When the demons they sent came, I realized that chasing earthly justice would never be enough.
The battles were too deep for arguments or evidence; they had to be resolved in spirit.
So I disconnected from the environment, placed the matter in God’s hands, and chose stillness over struggle.
For a long time, nothing seemed to change.
It felt like silence.
But I later understood that silence isn’t absence — it’s evidence being gathered in Heaven’s court.
We don’t always see how God moves.
Sometimes He lets the wicked build their own gallows, brick by brick,
while we learn patience and peace.
That is where true faith begins —in knowing that justice has its own pace,
and that God never misses a detail.
And in time, every act, every word, every intention finds its way back to its source.
When the Demon Comes Home —Law of Return
There’s a saying:
whatever we raise in darkness will one day return to its maker.
It’s not punishment — it’s balance.
That’s the mystery behind the demons that come home to roost.
Because when one sends out harm — through lies, spells, curses, or manipulation —
those forces travel in search of a dwelling place.
And when they find none in the person they were sent to destroy,
they must return to the heart that summoned them.
That’s the spiritual law of return.
Whatever we conjure in darkness must one day sit at our own table.
Whatever destruction we design for another will eventually ask us to host it.
Every curse we speak carries a return address. Every deceit remembers its maker.
When their darkness came shooting arrows,
I simply refused to host what was never mine.
I did not let bitterness take root or fear find home within me.
I turned to prayer — handing every arrow back to God,
trusting Him to turn what was meant to harm into light.

Faith as Firewall
I’ve learned that faith is a firewall that is invisible, unbreakable, and silent.
It doesn’t always stop the arrows that come to us, but it ensures none of them pierce our purpose.
Through prayer, I began to see the truth:
while they thought they were stripping me, they were only removing what was never meant to stay.
Their darkness didn’t purify me but God did, through it.
What was meant to destroy me became a refining fire that aligned me more deeply with my purpose.
That is the alchemy of faith — refusing to absorb evil, yet allowing God to transform even evil into good.
It’s the quiet miracle of Romans 8:28 embodied: “All things work together for good to them that love God.”

The Great Unfolding
Some stories are still being written, even when we already know the ending.
I’ve learned that divine justice doesn’t always arrive with thunder — it comes quietly, in perfect timing, and with no need for applause.
What I can say is this: what was hidden is surfacing, what was twisted is straightening, and what was borrowed truth is being returned to its rightful owner.
I no longer need to watch or prove anything.
I just simply keep my peace and remain aligned with light.
God reveals in His own time, not to humiliate, but to restore balance.
And when He does, truth would stand taller than any defense I could ever build.
The story isn’t finished, but I already know how it ends:
Light always wins.
That’s what happens when the demon comes home —
Because, it finds no room in you to dwell, only light, waiting, and the steady breath of grace.

To Every Woman Facing Spiritual Warfare
This is for the woman who feels unseen in her suffering —
who senses things shifting around her that she can’t explain.
For the one being quietly attacked, slandered, or spiritually opposed,
yet still shows up with grace.
You are not imagining it, and you are also not defeated.
You don’t have to match their darkness with darkness.
You don’t have to curse, plot, or prove anything.
Your strength lies in detachment, discernment, in standing firm, and in keeping your peace sacred.
Hold your ground in prayer, always.
Keep your words clean.
Walk with integrity, even when the road is not fair.
And remember, every demon eventually reports back to its master.
Make sure you are not the one who sent it.
Here’s an Affirmation I Love to Use
When the weight feels heavy, when the unseen battles rage, and when I feel alone, I speak this aloud.
I let it settle in my spirit to reclaim my ground.

If this post speaks to your spirit, share it with a sister who needs strength.
Lets walk through the fire together with grace not fear.

This is so beautifully written. Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt reflection on spiritual warfare in relationships. A topic many women shy away from out of fear. Indeed, darkness cannot thrive where light is powerful.
Thank you for your kind words.
